Description

This is a flowing Arab classical scrollwork design — the kind of ornamental pattern you find framing the great hall of a palace or bordering an antique tapestry, built from soft acanthus curls rather than hard geometric lines. At the centre, a perfectly round rosette medallion blooms outward in layered concentric rings, anchored top and bottom by a tall urn-shaped finial that branches into sweeping leaf-and-vine scrollwork. Each corner holds a dense cartouche of curling acanthus leaves and stylised blossoms, the whole field framed by a continuous meandering vine-and-rosette border and finished with a narrow floral guard line at the very edge.

Crafted in India using 100% natural wool, the dense cut pile — finished at approximately 23mm — gives this flowing, ornamental design a soft, lived-in elegance underfoot. Available in seven colour expressions: deep blue, warm brown, soft cream, warm gold, lush green, cool grey, and classic ivory — each carrying the same acanthus scroll medallion design with its own distinct palette.
