Description

This is an Arab classical diamond medallion design — the kind of refined pattern found on a formal Persian-influenced hall carpet. Soft arched spandrels curve inward at each corner of the field, framing scrollwork bouquets that lead the eye toward the centre. There, a diamond-shaped medallion unfolds in layered petals around a small central rosette, capped above and below by a flame finial that mirrors top and bottom. The wide border combines a repeating cartouche-and-shield motif with a narrower floral vine guard, finished with a slim outer edge.

Crafted in India using 100% natural wool, the dense cut pile — finished at approximately 23mm — gives this diamond medallion design a soft, traditional warmth underfoot.
