Description

This is a French Aubusson-style garland medallion design — a cusped quatrefoil medallion built from acanthus scrollwork and a small central rosette anchors an open field, capped by a fleur-de-lis finial with floral garland swags draping down to either side. Trailing floral vines connect the medallion to acanthus scrollwork in the upper corners. The wide border is built from a continuous leaf-arcade frieze, finished with a fine cross-hatch guard stripe at the very edge.

Crafted in India using 100% natural wool, the dense hand-tufted pile gives this garland-medallion design a light, classical presence underfoot. Available in six colour expressions: deep blue, lush green, classic ivory, deep navy blue, warm rust red, and bright yellow — each carrying the same garland-medallion design with its own distinct palette.
