Description

This is an Arab classical circular mandala design — the kind of clean, open-field pattern found on a refined reception-room carpet. At the centre, a rounded mandala medallion blooms beneath a slender fleur-de-lis finial, with a mirrored scrolling motif echoing below. Open acanthus and floral sprays sit directly in the four corners of the field, free of any architectural framing, giving the composition a light, breathing quality. The design is finished with a continuous shell-and-leaf outer guard and a fine diamond inner guard.
