Papillon Thistle & Butterfly Hand-Tufted Carpet is a naturalist garden scene rendered in carved, dimensional wool. Thorned thistle branches arch across the field while a cluster of butterflies settles and takes flight around them, scaled so one large central wing-span draws the eye before the smaller motifs unfold. The composition is built from fine illustrative line-work and flat colour-block wing patterning, finished with a carved, embossed relief that lifts the thistle stems, leaf veins and wing outlines from the field for genuine sculptural depth. Crafted in India using 100% natural wool, the hand-tufted, hand-carved pile gives this design the presence of a framed natural-history print rather than a traditional rug pattern. Available in colour expressions spanning tonal neutrals and full-spectrum jewel tones, each carrying the same thistle-and-butterfly composition with its own distinct palette.
