Description

This is the most painterly carpet in the Arab Classical line — built around naturalistic floral bouquets rather than stylised scrollwork. Loose, hand-painted-style flower arrangements rest between sweeping acanthus scrolls at the top and bottom of the field, while a soft oval medallion at the centre holds its own gathered bouquet, framed by a woven laurel-style border. The outer border carries a continuous interlocking chain motif in deep contrast tones, giving the whole piece the structured warmth of a French Aubusson tapestry reinterpreted through Arab classical craftsmanship.

Crafted in India using 100% natural wool, the dense cut pile — finished at approximately 23mm — delivers a rich, tactile surface with genuine depth. Available in five colour expressions: deep blue, warm gold, lush green, classic ivory, and rich brown — each carrying the same floral bouquet medallion design with its own distinct character.
