Description

This is an Arab classical diamond medallion design — the kind of refined pattern found on a formal hall carpet, built around a scalloped diamond medallion rather than a circular rosette. At the centre, a lozenge-shaped medallion with scalloped edges holds a multi-petalled rosette at its core, capped by a tall flame finial above and mirrored scrolling acanthus below. Each corner of the field carries a quarter-fan medallion in matching tones, while the border combines a continuous shell-and-acanthus meander with an inner floral vine guard and an outer key-pattern guard.

Crafted in India using 100% natural wool, the dense cut pile — finished at approximately 23mm — gives this diamond medallion design a formal, structured feel underfoot. Available in five colour expressions: deep dark blue, lush green, classic ivory, rich navy blue, and warm rust red — each carrying the same scalloped diamond medallion design with its own distinct palette.
