This is a different mix again from the rest of the collection  not a single-species study but a small meadow cast of characters: a large butterfly anchoring the upper field, two bees working a flowering branch, a long-antennaed beetle in flight, and a grasshopper perched along the same branch below, all on a plain solid ground with no specimen-board framing. Checked it against the existing Dragonfly & Currant design (file 9072) since both mix multiple insect types — the cast and the composition are genuinely different, no overlap there. Each creature is outlined in fine illustrative line-work with flat colour-block fills, then finished with a carved, embossed relief that lifts every wing, leg, and petal from the field for genuine sculptural depth. Crafted in India using 100% natural wool, the hand-tufted, hand-carved pile gives this design the presence of a framed meadow study rather than a conventional rug pattern.
