Description

This is a French Aubusson-style urn cartouche design — a cusped diamond cartouche packed with an acanthus rosette sits at the centre of an open field, rising into a tall urn-shaped finial flanked by acanthus C-scrolls and small flower rosettes. Each corner carries its own floral basket — a small urn filled with flowers, set within a curved cartouche. The composition is framed by a continuous arcade band of pointed arches along the top and bottom, a trailing floral vine guard, and a fine bead-chain stripe at the very edge.

Crafted in India using 100% natural wool, the dense hand-tufted pile gives this urn-cartouche design a formal, decorative presence underfoot.
