This is a French Aubusson-style sunburst medallion design — a radiating lotus-rosette medallion built from layered, tightly petalled rings anchors the centre of the field, surrounded by bold acanthus C-scrolls that fill the open ground from edge to edge. A continuous garland of small naturalistic roses and flowers traces the inner guard, framed by a wave-and-leaf border and a checkerboard guard stripe at the very edge.
